The Silver Spur, a gay men’s bar, was located at 2402 St. Clair Avenue Northeast. The Silver Spur was described as a “small but nice club” that was “relatively unknown, except for the regulars.” Harry Feldman, manager of the Silver Spur and Pappy’s Lounge, was murdered in 1975. The Silver Spur closed shortly after in 1976.The bar reopened as JJ’s Disco under new ownership.
