Raw Hide Saloon

The Raw Hide Saloon (Rawhide Saloon), a country western themed men’s levi and leather bar, opened at 4158 Lorain Avenue in 1985. The Raw Hide Saloon was located on the upper level of the Crown Cafe building in a space formerly inhabited by the Upper Crown. The Raw Hide Saloon operated as a private members-only men’s club. The upper-level club featured a patio, pool tables, and game room. Male dancers, weight lifting, and free peanuts were available to patrons nightly. The Raw Hide Saloon sponsored a short-lived men’s levi/leather club. The Raw Hide Saloon closed in 1986. The bar later reopened as Uncle Vinny’s Le Cabaret.
