Lemons & Limes

in Bars, Clubs, and Discos

Club Lemons & Limes, a short-lived gay club, opened at 2032 West 25th Street in 2011. Club Lemons & Limes (formerly Argos) featured a bar and dancefloor. In 2011, the Ohio Division of Liquor Control opted not to the renew the new club’s liquor license, citing a history of “fights, loud noise, disturbances, and other problems” at the premises. Additionally, the Ohio Division of Liquor Control alleged that the bar’s liquor license had been improperly transferred from the former Club Argos to Club Lemons & Limes. Jeffrey Walling, owner of Club Lemons & Limes, was subsequently left without a liquor license necessary to operate as a bar. Walling was subsequently forced to close the club only a few short months after its grand opening.
