in Bathhouses and Spas

Knight House Baths, a gay men’s bathhouse, opened at 1946 St. Clair Avenue in 1978. Knight House Baths opened in the former Cleveland Depo Baths space and shared many of the same amenities as its predecessor (including a steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and lounge). Knight House Baths closed sometime in the early 1980s. Heaven, a gay club, opened in the former Knight House location shortly after.
