The Edge, a gay bar, opened at 11213 Detroit Avenue in 2006. The Grid, a local gay nightclub complex, took over the former Deco space and reopened it as the short-lived Edge. The Edge featured a bar, dancefloor, stage, and live entertainment. The Edge closed in 2007. The club later reopened as Now That’s Class (later No Class), an alternative music venue and bar.
