Club Flamingo

Club Flamingo, a gay bar, opened at 12401 Detroit Avenue in the late 1980s. Club Flamingo offered cheap drinks, music, and dancing. Club Flamingo regularly hosted weekly themed nights and fundraising benefits for local LGBT+ groups and organizations. Club Flamingo closed sometime after 1989.
