The 23 Skidoo, a short-lived gay men’s bar, opened at 2309 St. Clair Avenue Northeast in 1980. The 23 Skidoo billed itself as “Cleveland’s UN-straight bar.” Bar patrons were invited to “cruise and booze” while enjoying a variety of tabletop games and refreshments.
